Each Utah Rep production since last January’s “Bonnie & Clyde” has significantly advanced the company’s profile to increasing critic and public acclaim. Consider the variety of these stagings:

► “The Last 5 Years,” guest directed by John Sweeney: Production of an acclaimed but rarely seen musical theater gem.
► “Bare”: Regional premiere of widely popular off-Broadway rock musical with an emotionally charged theme.
► “[title of show],” guest directed by Jason Bowcutt: Contemporary musical comedy, with Tony-nominated writer at opening weekend.
► “August: Osage County,” guest directed by Mark Fossen: Pulitzer-Prize and multiple Tony Awards-winning tragicomedy.
► “Grace”: Contemporary, dark drama with religion-fanaticism theme.
► “Bonnie & Clyde”: The state premiere of neglected musical by an acclaimed Broadway composer.

Next up is the Pulitzer-Prize acclaimed “Rabbit Hole.” It also advances the company’s wide selection of overlooked productions. The show will be followed by the regional premiere of the off-Broadway hit “Ordinary Days,” the Tony- and Oscar-winning “Amadeus,” and the regional premiere of the risen-from-the-dead “Carrie: The Musical.”
